Warm, Friendly Counselling

The first thing to ask ourselves when stepping into this journey is what do I want from counselling? What am I looking for in a counsellor? What do I hope to achieve? What are my expectations? Maybe you just want a bit of extra support or somewhere to feel heard and perhaps we haven’t even thought about any of these.

These can feel like difficult questions and sometimes we may not know the answer. That is OK. We don’t always have the answers. What I hope to provide is somewhere you feel able to ask and explore those questions further.

I aim to provide you with a space where you feel heard, safe and welcomed.

Integrative Counselling For Adults & Children

Asking for help or counselling for the first time (whether this is the first time or the first time with a new counsellor) can be a difficult step. Sometimes when we come to counselling we may have experienced counselling before, we may know exactly what we want to explore and talk about or we may not. Counselling is an effective way to help us through challenging times. Talking through our problems can help us to to explore our challenges and learn to provide ourselves with solutions.

Sessions

My room is based at my home. I aim to provide a confidential, non-judgemental, warm and friendly space for you to feel heard.

I do not ask clients to commit to any number of sessions but instead believe it is important for clients to have as much or as little as they feel appropriate. I therefore offer both short term and long term counselling. I can offer:

Understanding the Integrative Model of Counselling

When it comes to therapy, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every individual has unique experiences, challenges, and needs, which is why many therapists choose to work using the integrative model of counselling.
